AI chatbots are best suited to standardized, repeatable affiliate interactions that don’t require nuance: answering prospect inquiries about program terms, commission rates, payment schedules, and how to apply; onboarding approved affiliates by pointing them to their links, asset library, and dashboard; and handling FAQs on link tracking, payment thresholds, content guidelines, and restricted keywords. They fail at anything nuanced or novel — negotiation, custom collaboration proposals, or sensitive disputes — which still needs a person. The working split is simple: the bot takes the routine, the human takes the complex and relational.
