What is the difference between Machine Learning and NLP in SEO?

Machine Learning (ML) lets systems learn patterns from data and improve without being explicitly programmed for each case; in SEO it drives predictive work such as forecasting which topics or campaigns will perform, scoring lead-conversion likelihood, clustering keywords and audiences, and automating bid and scheduling decisions. Natural Language Processing (NLP) lets machines interpret and generate human language — it’s how search engines read the intent behind a query, and how tools run sentiment analysis, extract entities like brands and places from large text sets, summarize, and translate. In short, ML is about pattern-finding and prediction from data, while NLP is about understanding and producing language.
