A small, named set of providers does the work: answers are generated by a large language model provider such as OpenAI or Anthropic, and search over your content uses Pinecone. Data is sent only to generate an answer or build your index. The assistant gives general information, not professional advice; case-specific legal, financial or medical questions are routed to a person. See Data, Privacy and Governance.
