A Farewell to gibLink
After seven years of sparking conversations and creating connections, we have decided it’s time for us to start saying goodbye to gibLink.
We had a great 7-year run with gibLink!
It was exciting to be part of the early days of social media, connecting people and fostering online communities. However, the social media landscape evolved rapidly, with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok becoming increasingly popular and offering diverse ways for people to interact.
To keep pace with these changes and dedicate our resources to where users were increasingly spending their time, we decided to concentrate our efforts on improving those established platforms. This led us to shut down gibLink in 2014. We apologize for any disruption this caused for those of you who were still actively using the service.
We hope you’ll find new online spaces on these other platforms to connect with friends and family, share your passions, and build communities for the next decade and beyond.
