Trust is central to Lynx Assist. It answers only from content you approve. Your content and keys stay yours, and each assistant uses its own private index, so one site's data never mixes with another's. Content is reviewed by a person before it goes live. The assistant gives general information and intake, never personalized professional advice; case-specific legal, financial, or medical questions route to a person. Answers use an LLM provider such as OpenAI or Anthropic; search uses Pinecone.
Trust is the point of the whole design. Here is how your content and data are handled.
Your content stays yours
The assistant answers only from content you have approved. Your material and your service keys remain yours, and each assistant runs with its own private search index, so one site’s data never mixes with another’s. If you leave, you keep your content. There is no lock-in.
A person approves what goes live
Content is prepared and reviewed by a human before it becomes something the assistant can say. Nothing is auto-published unread. This human-in-the-loop step is what keeps answers accurate and on-brand, and it is a deliberate part of the process, not an afterthought.
Information, not professional advice
The assistant is built to give general information and to capture intent, for example helping someone find the right page or booking a call. It is not a substitute for professional advice. Case-specific legal, financial, or medical questions are routed to a real person rather than answered as if they were advice. For regulated businesses, this line is drawn explicitly during setup.
Which providers process data
A small, named set of services does the work:
- Answers are generated by a large language model provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
- Search over your content uses Pinecone, which hosts the index.
We use API access to these providers. Each install uses its own keys, and data is sent only to generate an answer or to build your search index.
In short
Answers only from what you approve, content reviewed by a person, information rather than advice, a short list of named providers, and your material stays yours.
